Title VI​

The Georgia DOT Title VI Program ensures no person shall be excluded from participation in, or is denied the benefits of, or is subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. ​

 

Title VI Notice of Public Rights

Title VI of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 (Title VI) prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs that receive federal funding. Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in. or denied the benefits of, its services on the basis of race, color, or national origin as protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

Complaints should be filed within 180 days of the alleged violation.



Goals

The primary goal of the progra​m is to ensure that all GDOT employees, sub-recipients (which include contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, local governments), and service beneficiaries are aware of the provisions of Title VI and the responsibilities associated with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.​​​

Training Registration

In order to register for training you must access Georgia DOT's Learning Management System (LMS). NOTE: Each person registering for training MUST create a separate account with a valid email address, DOB and DL.

"In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department af Agriculture (USDA} policy, the Georgia Department of Transportation is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, and where applicable, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, political beliefs, reprisal, or because all or part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance program.
