The Office of Materials and Testing (OMAT) is responsible for ensuring materials are certified and tested for use within construction projects.

Testing results are used to support materials certification and payment of contractor invoices.

AASHTOWare Project SiteManager Materials

Vendors that produce an​d supply materials to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will use the AASHTOWare Project SiteManager Materials application to support:

  • Paperless technology
  • Electronic data submission
  • Increasing transparency
  • Reducing delays in issuing a Materials Certificate
  • Faster invoicing

 

Th​e application contains two modules:

Materials Management
Records, tracks, and reports on material samples and test results from job sites, plants, and test labs

Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS)
Integrates material and lab administration to manage the sampling and testing workflow​​​​​

 


  1. Complete GDOT SiteManager certification and training from the Learning Management System (LMS)
  2. ​Each individual submitting test results will need to create an individual GDOT account through User Registration. GDOT accounts cannot be shared.
    1. a. Select you organization from the Organization Search
    2. b. Select your OMAT POC or Point-of-Contact to approve account creation
    3. c. Do not check "Do you require GDOT email?"
    4. d. Under "Application Access" select "AASHTOWare Project SiteManager Materials", and enter a reason for what the user would need within the required text field/comments box. For example:
      1. i. Pit & Quarry "640 641 process to enter Shipment and Test data"
      2. ii. Asphalt "Asphalt 150 &159P - LAB 321 Ross road Lenox, Ga 31637"
    5. e. Once a request is submitted, an email is generated to the OMAT POC to approve or deny account creation.
    6. f. Once the account is approved, it will be routed to generate user credentials. Two emails will be sent to the user. One with the user account and one with the password.
    7. g. The user will then need to login to the GDOT network to validate network access and change their temporary password.
  3. 3. Additional instructions to access SiteManager Materials will be sent to the email address used in User Registration.
    1. a. When logging into the GDOT Citrix portal for the first time, you will be prompted to install the Citrix Receiver plugin. Currently, version 4.5 should install by default. Compatible versions for the GDOT Citrix Portal are Citrix Receiver 4.5 and 4.6. Other versions can cause issues when trying to access Site Manager.
    2. b. Internet Explorer is the recommended browser for accessing the GDOT Citrix Portal. Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge have compatibility issues with the GDOT Citrix portal and are not recommended.
  4. 4. Access to SiteManager Material is expected to be provided approximately within 7-10 business days
    5. Vendors can reset or change their password through Vendor Password Reset


1. Phone the GDOT Solutions Center Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm by calling 404-631-1220 or 1-800-651-5010
2. Email the GDOT Solutions Center at: SolutionsCenter@dot.ga.gov
3. The following information will be requested:

  • a. The SiteManager Materials Username/Vendor ID being used
  • b. The type of material: Asphalt, Bituminous, Concrete, Pit and Quarry/Aggregate, or Ready-mix
  • c. If the issue is related to Job Mix Formulas (JMF)
    d. Confirmation of login to the GDOT network and SiteManager Materials
  • e. A description of the error, how it occurred in the application, and any related screenshots
4. Asphalt vendors can contact the Asphalt On-Call number after hours and on weekends at 404-608-4703 or email AsphaltOnCall@dot.ga.gov for support
5. Vendor accounts that need to be disabled over a weekend or after hours can contact Windows OnCall at 404-326-6553 or email Windowsoncall@dot.ga.gov
6. Vendors with issues on weekend shipping for Bituminous Control (QPL7) can call 404-608-4860 or 404-608-4856
7. Stonemont issues should be directed to contact Stonemont or submit a support ticker through the Stonemont Solutions Help Desk
