LTAP Class Registration

Georgia's LTAP stimulates active, progressive and cost-effective transfer of highway technology and technical assistance to rural and local governments. All workshops are available to GDOT employees, local and state agencies, contractors and consultants. Please sign up for LTAP classes using the GDOT’s Learning Management System (LMS). If you do not already have a LMS account, click    Sign In. If you do have an account, click Enroll Now.

The WECS course fee is $65 for all agencies.  Check or money order required for payment.  Please list the names of participants on the check so that proper credit for payment can be documented. All payments must be received before a certification card will be issued.  Participants will not be invoiced.

NO REFUNDS. Participants can be transferred to another class with 48 hours notice.

NOTE: The WECS class is no longer a state certification course. If you are a local (city/county) organization, it is no longer advisable for you to to take the WECS course.

Traffic Data Equipment

Need traffic counts equipment?   If your agency is planning to install a signal, erect a stop sign, or perform any traffic engineering study, you are encouraged to request our assistance. Arrangements can be made to either deliver the equipment or to have it picked up by someone you choose. If you need training in how to use the equipment that's available also.

Notice Highway Capacity Manual- Update

The Highway Capacity Manual (HCM 2010) is now finalizing a Major Update. This one-day seminar will provide an overview of the changes as compared with the current HCM 2010, including many methodological details. The information provided in this workshop is fairly technical toward learning what to expect from the updated HCM 2010 procedures and their implementation in the Highway Capacity Software. View Flyer.
