Severe Weather Preparedness Week
February 4-8, 2019
Severe Weather Preparedness Week is an opportunity for Georgians to review their family emergency plan and prepare for potential weather hazards. Georgia DOT encourages everyone to learn how to stay safe when severe weather is expected in your area. The potential for storms that could bring tornadoes, flooding, and strong winds is highest during the spring season (March, April and May). Please remember to listen to weather reports, develop a communications plan and create an emergency supply kit in case of severe weather.
