Project Description:
The proposed eastern terminus of this frontage road project is SR 11, which is a two-lane urban minor arterial used by commuters and trucks to connect to connect to SR 316. The proposed western terminus is Harry McCarty road which is a two lane local road. The new roadway is expected to provide local travelers an alternate east-west route in lieu of SR 316, and access for future developments between SR 81 and SR. This project will enhance safety and reduce congestion along this portion of State Route 316. It will provide better mobility within the commercial district, and provide improved access to SR 316. This new roadway connection will also benefit local trips to development along SR 316, as the roadway is eventually upgraded to a freeway style facility.
