Project Description:
The proposed project will widen a 8.88 mile section of SR 99 in Glynn County, Georgia from US 341 to I-95. It is proposed to widen the existing 2 lane section to 4 lanes. The roadway will be separated by a 24 foot raised median with median breaks at designated intervals. The project will require ROW purchases along the entire corridor. Glynn County currently owns a large portion of the required ROW. A critical intersection along the corridor is Spur 25 where a roundabout is proposed to be installed.
