Project Description:

Project NH-0000-00(455), P.I. No 0000455, consists of the reconstruction of the intersection of SR 196 with US 84/SR 38 in Liberty County. This is a safety intersection improvement project that will relocate the intersection, provide a new signal, and construct a 4 lane roadway with a median and turn lanes on SR 196. The total length of construction on SR 196 and SR 38/US 84 is approximately 0.83 miles. This project precedes the roadway widening project no. STP-026-3(51), which will construct a 4 lane roadway on SR 196 to I-95, projected for a FY 2006 letting.
