Safety Education

Walk and Roll Safety Tips. Make eye contact with drivers. Make sure they see you! Be visible. Wear bright, reflective clothes and carry lights. Use safe routes. Know your route and stick to it. Walk and roll with friends or a trusted adult. Cross at intersections and use crosswalks when possible. Look left, right, left as you cross and watch for turning cars. Use sidewalks or pathways when possible. No sidewalk? Walk facing traffic (on left) and ride bicycles on the right. Learn and follow the rules of the road.

Safety education is an important part of the Education E.  We have created several resources to use for increasing safe walking and biking skills of the children at your schools.
