Georgia Walk & Roll to School Day

Georgia Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day (also known as GWalk) is an annual statewide celebration led by the Georgia Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program that encourages students, families, schools, and communities to choose active transportation by walking, biking, rolling, or using other mobility devices to get to school. Held each March as part of Georgia Walk & Roll Month, the event promotes healthy lifestyles, improves traffic safety awareness, reduces congestion around schools, and highlights the importance of creating safe, accessible routes for every student. Schools across Georgia are invited to participate by hosting walk-and-roll events, transportation safety activities, and community celebrations that make active transportation fun, safe, and inclusive.
