Who do I contact if I have questions about the new hire packet?

Contact your recruiter or analyst, their contact information is listed in the email offer or call the Customer Service center at (404) 631-1500.


Where do I report and who do I ask for?

Report to 600 W Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA. Go to the Customer Service Center on the main floor. The door to the Customer Service Center will be open at 7:45 am.


Do I have to pay for parking on my first day of work?

If you sign up for monthly parking, you do not have to pay for parking on your first day. It will be deducted from your paycheck once you sign up.


What do I wear?

The attire is business casual

  • For women: slacks, skirt, blouses, polos or dresses
  • For Men: slacks, dress shirt or polo

Is public transportation accessible?

Yes, GDOT is located near two transit services:


What documents do I bring on my first day?

Bring in your completed paperwork and two forms of identification. Here are some acceptable forms of ID:

  • State issued driver’s license
  • US Passport
  • Social Security card
  • An original birth certificate or any state issued picture ID

Is there an accessible microwave if I bring my lunch.

Yes, there is a breakroom on the plaza level where there is a microwave


Where can I request IT assistance?

Once you are assigned a computer, go to the MYGDOT page, under My Profile, click on IT Service Portal and create a ticket


Where is my time sheet?

Go to the MYGDOT page, click on the icon WFTK


Where can I find GDOT logos and templates?

For GDOT logos and icons access the Logo and Brand Guidelines webpage.

For memo, letter and presentation templates go to the MYGDOT page, under the Policies, Publications & Templates section.


When will I get my first paycheck?

GDOT paydays are on the 9th and 24th of each month. Pay period 1st – 15th is paid on the 24th of that month. Pay period 16th – last day of the month is paid on the 9th of the next month. If a payday falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a Holiday, the payday is on the preceding business day.


When do I start accruing paid time off?

Accrues semi-monthly at the rate of 5 hours per pay period


When will I have access to my health benefits?

Benefits become effective the 1st day of the calendar month, following the month the premium amount is deducted. Example, if the premium amount is deducted July, benefits begin on August 1st.
