Erosion Control Training
The Department is requiring Erosion Control Training for Contractors working on GDOT projects. The Utility Industry is invited to participate in this training for a nominal fee. Please contact the LTAP Training Office at (404) 656-4664 or send email to Beverly Fontenot for further information.

Approved Flagger Information
All flaggers doing any flagging on the State Highway System must have received training and a certificate upon completion of the training from a Department approved training program. This includes all Utility and Permit location operations. All costs for providing certified flaggers will be borne by the contractor and/or utility companies. Failure to provide certified flagger, as required above, shall be reason for suspending work regarding the flaggers(s) until a certified flagger can be provided. Flagger training and certification can be obtained through training organizations that provide certified ATSSA of NSC programs, or directly from ATSSA or NSC.
