The Public Involvement Plan is designed to ensure and enhance the Department’s compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and policies that guide public involvement in project development.
Georgia DOT has several programs aimed at improving and preserving our transportation system. Our agency has also designed programs that increase roadway safety for travelers.
Open house to discuss the proposed off-site detour for the replacement of the State Route 59 bridge over the Hudson River.
The meeting will follow an open-house format and the public can drop-in at any time between 5-7pm to view the plans and the proposed detour route. Public comments will be accepted at the meeting, as well as online for 10 business days after the meeting.
