Inspection and Maintenance Programs

This is a broad range of projects that address poor engine maintenance and malfunctioning of pollution control equipment, which can significantly increase the amount of emissions released.   CMAQ funds may be used to introduce, conduct and provide start-up costs for automobile inspection and maintenance programs.
