Road Improvement

  • The Governor's Road Improvement Project (GRIP) is designed to connect 95% of our state's cities (with a population of 2,500 or more) to the Interstate System.
  • The Local Road Assistance Program (LARP) provides funding to local governments for local, non-state-owned road improvement projects, including re-paving.
  • Ramp Meter Installation projects are designed to reduce disruption to interstate traffic by controlling the flow of merging traffic and alleviating bottlenecks
