I-85 - Meriwether County Line to SR 34 (Bullsboro Drive)
Project Numbers: MSL-0003-00(161) and IM-85-1(356) is 14.33 miles of widening for additional lanes on I-85/SR403 beginning south of the Meriwether County line and extending North of SR 34 ( Bullsboro Drive) and includes reconstruction of 17 bridges. CCTV and Video Detection Systems are included.
Work began on this project January 3, 2007 and is expected to be completed December 31, 2009.
Bridge closures, shoulder closures, lane closures and traffic shifts will be schedule for both daytime and night times as the project progresses.
I-85 - SR 34 (Bullsboro Drive) to SR 74 (Exit 61)
Project Numbers: NHS-M002-00(434) is a 9.705 mile, paving and shoulder reconstruction on I-85/SR403 beginning at SR 34 (Bullsboro Drive) and extends to the Fulton County line. (at the intersection with SR 74.)
Work began on this project October 2, 2006, and is expected to be complete October 31, 2009.
Shoulder closures, lane closures and traffic shifts will be schedule for both daytime and night times as the project progresses. Twenty four hour wrecker service is available by contacting the Coweta Sheriff’s Department or Georgia State Patrol.
I-85 - Fulton County Line to SR 74 (Exit 61)
Project Numbers: CSNHS-M003-00(480) is a 4.045 mile, paving and shoulder reconstruction on I-85/SR403 beginning at the Fulton County Line and extends to Exit 61 (SR 74.)
Work began on this project January 29, 2007, and is expected to be complete March 31, 2009.
Shoulder closures, lane closures and traffic shifts will be schedule for both daytime and night times as the project progresses. Twenty four hour wrecker service is available by contacting the Fulton Sheriff’s Department or Georgia State Patrol.
