Georgia DOT will use a design-build process to complete the West Point 85 Interchange project and speed design delivery and construction. Currently, construction is scheduled for completion by December 2008. Lane closures for this project will be minimal and will take place during off-peak travel times or at night. A full shutdown of I-85 in order to complete construction is not anticipated.
