Ordering Online Permits

Customers can now order permits online. The Permit Office will process all online applications. Permits will be issued during normal business hours of 7:00 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday.

For customers who routinely order permits, please fill out the Web Based Application Account Creation/Affidavit form then fax (404-635-8166) or email (PEWireRoom@dot.ga.gov) it to the Permit Office. Customers will be notified by email once your account is set-up.

Customers will also be able to perform several functions over the web such as:

• Checking your escrow balance(for those customers with escrow accounts)
• Making changes to the application before it is reviewed by the Permit Office
• Verifying the status of your application with a tracking number assigned for that load
