OVERVIEW

The GDOT Field Data Collection system is a program that assists GDOT testing technicians and certified contractor technicians in entering and sending field test data to GDOT.
Data is sent to the GDOT using the Web Upload feature.

INSTALLATION AND UPDATES FOR FDCS

Field Data Collection System Client must be kept up to date. GDOT does not support older versions of this software. Attempting to Upload with an unsupported version will result in an error message directing the user to the Update webpage.
Unlike previous versions, it is not necessary to back up your database prior to installation; data storage is updated along with the application.

*NEW* FDCS WEB VIEW

Data received is stored in the GDOT's Field Data Server Database. Designated GDOT personnel verify data, perform statistical analysis on the data as a whole, and generate rating reports. Data submitted by Asphalt Plants and Cement Mills can be viewed in the central database by authorized users. An account ID and password must be used to view the read-only data.
