Consultant - Project Management

This unit is responsible for managing projects under design by consultants. Such projects include typical roadway improvement projects in urban and rural Georgia such as widening, new location, interchange reconstruction arterial roadway projects, the accelerated Governor’s Roadway Improvement Projects (GRIP) design-build, bridge replacement program ("Big Bridge") and safety improvements. In addition this unit manages Work Order (Task Order) contracts.

Project Tracking - This is a compilation of all projects managed by Office of Consultant Design & Program Delivery (OCD-PD) to be Let to construction in the next 24 months. This information should be reviewed by consultants and DOT Project Managers. (Microsoft Spreadsheet)

Design Aids for Consultants -  A list of policies which all consultants should be aware of; this information consist of documents, guides, manuals, and software.

Consultant Design Projects (Under Construction) - Projects recently Let. Handing over projects to Construction is the goal of Preconstruction and of Consultant Design & Program Delivery. It takes many people with a wide variety of skills working together in teams, and even teams of teams, to take a project from Concept to Letting. There is no way we can recognize every contribution. Thanks to everyone who has helped bring these projects to fruition.
