Project Description:
The proposed project will remove the existing at-grade crossings at Barber Creek Road and Craft Road with US 29/SR 8/SR 316 at both intersections and a create a grade separated diamond interchange at Barber Creek Road. A bridge over SR 316 is proposed along Barber Creek Road. Craft Road is proposed as a cul-de-sac on the south side of SR 316 and a new frontage road is proposed to connect the northern portion of Craft Road to Barber Creek Road. To the north, Ventura Street will be realigned to form an intersection with Barber Creek Road. Wylie McGuire Road, located south of SR 316, will be realigned to connect with Barber Creek Road at a location further south than the current intersection.
