Professional Record: Senior Management Official with the Regional Federal Highway Administration Office, U.S. DOT, 22 years. Served as a Contract Administrator and Special Assistant to the Regional Director of the Defense Contract Administration until 1968. Served as Contracting and Procurement Officer with the Regional Office of the General Services Administration in the early 1960s. Served as an Electronics Engineer with the Office of Research & Engineering, U.S. Postal Department, where helped develop magnetic bar code and electronic optical scanners used today.
