The Public Involvement Plan is designed to ensure and enhance the Department’s compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and policies that guide public involvement in project development.
Georgia DOT has several programs aimed at improving and preserving our transportation system. Our agency has also designed programs that increase roadway safety for travelers.
These projects propose to enhance safety and reduce crash frequency and severity at the intersections of CR 47/Old Hog Mountain Road at State Routes 211 and 124 by constructing a roundabout at each intersection. The purpose of this Location and Public Information Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to view the projects, ask questions, and comment on the projects.
