The Public Involvement Plan is designed to ensure and enhance the Department’s compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and policies that guide public involvement in project development.
Georgia DOT has several programs aimed at improving and preserving our transportation system. Our agency has also designed programs that increase roadway safety for travelers.
The project proposes to replace the existing bridge located on State Route 212 at Lake Jackson.
This meeting will provide the public information on a bridge replacement project happening in the area, and propose a detour route to be used during construction.
This is a Public Information Open House to show the public the proposed detour routes for these 6 bridge rehabilitations, during which bridges will be closed for 30-60 days depending on extent of rehabilitation needed. The public will be asked to submit feedback based on the proposed detour routes and bridge plans.
