Georgia 400 Study

Georgia 400 Express Lanes

Feasibility Study

Earlier this year, the Georgia DOT completed the Georgia 400 Express Lanes feasibility study. The study looked at options to improve mobility along the GA 400 corridor between the I-285 interchange in Fulton County and Buford Highway/SR 20 in Forsyth County. This study revealed that the Department needs to continue investigating the possibility of lower cost managed lane solutions through the Managed Lanes Implementation Plan (MLIP), which will re-prioritizing managed lanes implementation in metro-Atlanta.
