US 441 Improvements

PI 0013617, 0013613, & 0015925: Georgia DOT is developing improvements along US 441 from the Madison Bypass in Morgan County to south of Astondale Road in Oconee County (0013617 & 0013613). Due to the lack of public consensus for the proposed alignment within Bishop, GA, GDOT will not move forward with the localized bypass alignment (0015925). The funding for this project (0015925) has been moved to long-range and the transportation needs within Bishop will be considered in the future.

US 441 Improvements Survey Results

Georgia DOT hosted a survey to determine the transportation needs and local priorities for the US 441 corridor using MetroQuest online community engagement software. The MetroQuest interactive platform encouraged respondents to rank their priorities, name specific needs or concerns related to those priorities, add written comments, and even map locations of existing or potential issues along US 441.
