2017 Summer Construction: Pardon Our Progress

Georgia DOT will conduct numerous road construction and maintenance projects during the summer months, which is our busiest construction period of the year. These projects are a part of our effort to preserve and maintain one of Georgia’s best investments: our roads.

Know Before You Go

We want to make sure motorists are informed about scheduled roadwork that may impact travel on our roadways. There will be construction projects on major highways throughout the state, leading to significant delays – especially during weeknights and weekends.. Before heading out, call or visit 5-1-1 to receive real-time information on travel conditions in your area.
